He was a life long resident of Santa Rosa County he loved hunting, fishing, guitar and bluegrass music. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlie Lee and Christine Cooley; three brothers, Robert Earl, Ralph, and J.C Cooley; and two sisters, Martha Johnson, Lelia Trux.He is survived by son, Lee (Angela Cooley of GA; two daughters, Tammy Mitchem of Santa Rosa County FL and Amanda Cooley of Okaloosa County FL; two brothers, Larry and Jerry Cooley of Santa Rosa County FL; sisters, Lavelle Cooley of Milton FL, Carol Warrick of Jay FL, Elvena Brannon of Jay FL, and Willestine Glover of Pensacola FL; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.Visitation will be held 6-9 pm Tuesday at Jay Funeral HomeFuneral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Jay Funeral Home with the Rev. Alton Nixon officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. The family would like to thank Fourth Floor nursing staff and Dr. Kalasi and Dr.Cherian.
