Roger Joseph Claude Francois Forget died suddenly at his home in Cobalt on May 7, 2008 at the age of 81. Mr. Forget was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Louisa Forget; his first wife Hélène Duval and his second wife Hélène Loranger. He is survived by his loving daughter Diane (and Michael) Cole of Elliot Lake; grandchildren Carey Laura Cole-Barr (Rodney) , Anne Hélène Muscat (Bryan) , Michael Robert Cole, Marc Roger Cole (Shayleen) and Nathalie Krista Cole-Keating (Daniel) ; great-grandchildren Richard Leonard Cole, Aaron Marc Cole, Amber Sierra Cole, Baby Keating, Joshua Muscat, Kyle Muscat and Jordan Muscat, Baby Ugin Lucas Adwin-Cole and Baby Grace; siblings Hubert Forget (Jeanne) , Denise Kohlaas, Cécile Bolduc, Yolande Fillion (Rhéal) and Marguerite Auger (Roger) ; stepchildren Doris Lacroix (Robert) , Paulette Savoie, Ronald Loranger, Yvon Loranger, Glorianne Loranger and Gérard Loranger. The family thanked Mr. Forget’s special friends Ginette, Gerard and Yvette Lacroix, Marcel and Lise Jutras and all who helped him over the years in some special way. The funeral mass was celebrated on May 10 from Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Cobalt Catholic Cemetery. The family expressed their sincere thanks to Tante Marguerite for playing her violin for her brother throughout the funeral mass; Father Lapalme, Father Scully, Father Ngoy and Father Turcotte for their prayers and support; his nieces and nephews who made their uncle’s life happier and especially Jean Marc, Matthieu, Pat and Danny Tresidder.
