MCLEOD, Roderick James (Veteran WWII; Life member of Islington Golf Club) - It is with great sadness the family announces that Rod McLeod passed away, peacefully, at the William Osler Health Centre, Toronto, on Friday, April 28, 2006, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Dawna, and predeceased by his first wife Caroline “Carrie” (nee Higgins). Loving and devoted father of Gayle (James Favalaro), Pamela (William Patrick), Paul (Ann), Anne (Samuel Yerex), Mary (Darryl Bruns), and Robert (Michele). Much loved grandfather of Philip (Kim), Richard, Carrie, Heather, Laurena, Charlene, Andrew, Shawn, Roderick, Tyler, Justin, Jaydon, Julie, Chad, Stefanie, Amanda and great grandfather of Matthew, Leanne and Lauren. Rod will also be sadly missed and remembered by his extended family Sharon and Steve Brockman, Katie and Stephie; Lynda and Ken Townsend, and Wendy. Brother of the late Margaret, Adam and Clarence. Friends may call at the TURNER & PORTER BUTLER CHAPEL, 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at 3 pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
