Rocco Antonio DiBiase Sr., 89 PORTLAND -- Rocco Antonio DiBiase Sr., 89, of Portland, passed away at The Cedars on Dec. 1, 2013. He was born on Aug. 16, 1924, the son of Donald and Annie Grace (Alexander) DiBiase. He grew up in Portland, attending Portland schools. After school, Rocco joined and served with the Merchant Marines. He spent the rest of his adult life working in construction. He enjoyed golfing with his brother, Louis 'Skippy' DiBiase. As a younger man, he would caddy at the Portland Country Club. He was very close with his sister, Diane, who he cared for very much. He spoke of her fondly. Rocco was a very strong, loving and caring man and always did what he could for others. Rocco was predeceased by his parents; his wife Nellie; his brother Matthew, his sisters, Angie and Mary; and a daughter, Linda Louise. He is survived by his daughter Susan and her companion Ann, son Ronald and his wife Jenny, his son Rocco Jr. and daughter Nancy and her husband David. He is also survived by his brother Louis 'Skippy' DiBiase, sister Diane Russo; as well as many nieces, nephews; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at The Cedars for their compassion and kindness. Services for Rocco will be private at a later date.
