Of Orchard Park, NY; November 25, 2003; age 76, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Clair E. Johnson in 1986; survivors include four children, Brian (Nancy, daughters Paisley and Stacy) of Boulder, CO, David (Judy) of Jamestown, NY, Brenda Johnson DeLuca (David, son Taylor) of Ann Arbor, MI, Bruce (JoEllen, son Corey, daughter Kelsey, daughter Whitney predeceased 1985) of Orchard Park, NY; and two sisters, Florence Brown (late Floyd) and Eleanor Forsberg (Ed), both of Jamestown; also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. A former Jamestown resident, Roberta has resided in Orchard Park for the past seven years, most recently under the loving care of the staff at The Waters of Orchard Park. Until recently, she was an active member of the Orchard Park Senior Citizens, and most notably the Sassy Seniors tap dance group. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at 10:00 AM at The Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 4369 South Buffalo St., Orchard Park, NY. Services will also be held in Jamestown on Sunday, December 14, 2003 at The First Presbyterian Church. In the interest of helping others, Roberta has donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Program at the University at Buffalo Medical School (as did her husband). Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of donations, the family urges women to be screened for ovarian/peritoneal cancer.
