Roberta June Jones, 79, Sarasota, died Dec. 6, 2004. She was born June 4, 1925, in Columbus, Ohio, and came to Sarasota from there in 1985. She retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors include sons Randall E. of Gahanna, Ohio, William K. of Sunbury, Ohio, and Christopher of Sarasota; a sister, Barbara Shapter of Lima, Ohio; and a grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
