Mrs. Roberta Joanne Martin- Hoffstatter, age 68, of Marshville NC, formerly of Woodbury New Jersey, passed away on Sunday (August 22, 2010) at Carolinas Medical Center - Mercy. A private Memorial Service will be held at Kerr Lake State Park in NC. Mrs. Martin was the daughter of the late Marie and Robert Hoffstatter. Roberta was survived by four brothers, Jeffrey, William, Frederick, all Chillicothe, Illinois, and Steven of Peoria, Illinois. Roberta was survived by five children James Martin, of Hudson, Florida; Deborah Atwood (Ken)of Woodbury, New Jersey; Daniel Martin (Tami), David Martin all of Marshville, North Carolina; Tracy Flood of Deptford, New Jersey. Roberta was the grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren Kenny, Stephen, Sheri, and Brianna. Memorials may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars; 712 VFW Road; Monroe, North Carolina 28110.
