WHALLS, Robert William (Rev. Bob) - age 52, of Port Lambton went to be with his Lord on Monday 31, 2008 at C.K.H.A. Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg. Beloved husband of Shirley (Alderman) Whalls for 32 years. Loving father of Christa (Michael) Miller, Trenton; Sarah (Jason) Edwards, London; Tobin and Rachel at home. Survived by proud parents Gwen (late William) (1997) Whalls, sister Beverly, brothers Ken (V‘a'n) Whalls and Mark Whalls all of Chatham. Predeceased by his sister Karen (1962). Bob served the congregation of Port Lambton, Sombra, and Wilkesport United Churches for over 20 years. He was a dedicated member of the “Soul Patrol” (a Christian motorcycle club). Bob also served as Chaplain of the Wallaceburg Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Bob always took time to stop and visit with everyone. He will be greatly missed by the community. Friends will be received at the Port Lambton United Church on Saturday April 5, 2008 from 4-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted at the church on Sunday April 6 at 10:30am with Rev. Susan Woodhouse officiating. Following Bob's wishes cremation will take place. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.
