Lyon, Robert WilliamAug. 4, 1936 - Aug. 14, 2007Robert William Lyon, 71, Sarasota since 1998, formerly of Huntington, N.Y., died Aug. 14, 2007.Services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota on Fruitville Road. Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Nancy; a daughter, Amy M. of Long Island, N.Y., and Sarasota; a son, Andrew R. of Long Island; a brother, Roger; and sisters Marion Schapiro, Linda Belland and Nancy Deluca.Mr. Lyon was an electrical engineer from MIT. He worked for Grumman Aerospace for 35 years.
