KEYES, Robert William - (Retired, Plant Department, Toronto Transit Commission) Passed away suddenly on Friday, June 17, 2011 at St. Joseph's Health Centre. Beloved husband of Pearl for 69 years, father of Robert (Penny) and Gary. Predeceased by his sisters (Sarah, Susan, Mary) and his brothers (John, Lancelot, Harry, George, Cecil), survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and the UK. Born in Killargue, Northern Ireland, immigrated to Canada in 1935, served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII and was a 33 year employee of the Plant Department, Toronto Transit Commission. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of Jane Subway, on Tuesday June 21, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday June 22, 2011, at 11 a.m. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
