Robert White, 69, Sarasota, died Sept. 27, 2006. He was born May 16, 1937, in Brooks County, Ga., and came to Sarasota over 60 years ago from Georgia. He was a brick mason and a member of New Bethel M.B. Church. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; sons Wheelock Minna-White, Robert C., and Torrence R., all of Sarasota; daughters Connie Wilson, Carol Wilson, Cynthia Claridy and Cheryl Dilworth, all of Sarasota; sisters Julia McIntosh and Wessie M. Reid, both of Sarasota, Betty J. Holiday of Virginia and Virginia Thomas of Georgia; 30 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Bethel M.B. Church.
