Obituary of Robert Whitaker

James Robert Whitaker, 37, of 509 Wesley Court, died Saturday, June 1, 2002. Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Robert Lee and Jewell Taylor Whitaker. Survivors: Daughters, Samantha Whitaker of Entawville; Holly Whitaker of Anderson and Cora Whitaker of Anderson; a brother, Dennis Whitaker of Anderson; sisters, Elizabeth Beatty of Starr and Nancy Getsinger of Anderson; and one grandson. Predeceased: Brother, John Whitaker. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. today at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Downtown Chapel. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial: South Lawn Memorial Gardens.
