WAHL, Robert (Bob) James, Detective On Thursday, February 20, 2003, Robert James Wahl of St. Albert passed away at his home, at the age of 48 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob will be deeply missed by his loving wife of twenty-five years, Cheryl; his daughters, Angela, and Charlene; and his son, Michael; his mother, Verna Wahl; his father Arthur Wahl; his sisters, Joan (Wayne) Lebedow, and Gail (Ted) Elkins; his brother, Norman (Elaine) Wahl; and by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and good friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Ken Chow, for his caring and compassion throughout Bob's illness, as well as the many doctors and nurses involved with Bob's care. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the members of the Edmonton Police Service for the tremendous support and kindness that they have shown. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2003, at the St. Albert Alliance Church (1 km west of St. Albert Trail, on Villeneuve Road), at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Cyril Gowler and Chaplain Kurt Schmidlin officiating.
