JOHNSON, Robert W. - Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday September 8, 2009. Bob Johnson in his 75th year. Beloved husband for 41 years of Peggy (nee Douglas). Loving father of Melody (Allen Cole) and grandfather to Dashiell. Brother of Bill. Pre-deceased by his parents Roy and Jennie, stepsons Kevin and Scott Haines and a sister-in-law Kaye Johnson. Bob was a 40 year employee of Loblaws and a life member of The Brant Naval Veterans. Bob enjoyed bowling, golfing, all sports and coaching girls hockey and softball. The family extend their thanks to the staff of Leisureworld and special thanks to Carol Boyce for all her help and support. He will be missed by his beloved cat Mulligan. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Cremation.
