Robert W. Hurley, of Yonkers, died on Thursday, December 14, 2006. Born on July 2, 1944 to John and Elma (Davis) Hurley in Yonkers, where he was raised and attended local schools. Mr. Hurley worked as a Custodian for the Yonkers Board of Education for over 33 1/2 years, retiring in 1999. On August 10, 1963, he married Phyllis Zaremba in St. Joseph's Church; she survives living in Yonkers. Robert is also survived by his three children, Kathleen (David) Brown of Yonkers, Richard (Laura) Hurley of Dover Plains and Deirdre (Edmund) Conley of Yorktown Heights and his five grandchildren, David, Parker, Meaghan, Ryan and Brian; his brothers,, David of Queens and John of Wappingers Falls and his sister Kathleen Donald of Yonkers. He was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Michael Hurley. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball F.H. on Sunday, December 17 from 2 to 5 pm only.
