BECK, ROBERT W., 88, died on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Seasons Retirement Community, Cincinnati, OH. He held an undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Illinois and a graduate degree in engineering from the University of Louisville. He was retired from the General Electric Company. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was the devoted husband of Mary K. Beck, of Louisville. He is also survived by his two sons, James H. Beck (Rene), of Cincinnati and Thomas E. Beck, (Elizabeth), of Philadelphia, PA; two grandchildren, Jonathan E. Beck and Olivia Beck; and two sisters, Jane Mueller and Patricia Maddox. He was preceded in death by his son, William D. Beck. Burial will be at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville. A memorial service will be held at the Seasons Retirement Community in Cincinnati at a later date.
