VAIVE, Robert September 15, 1945 - Former Clerk Assistant of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia passed away peacefully at home, on August 10, 2013, in his 68th year. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Tremblay, his children Justin (Krista Wilcox and his grandchildren Noah, Nicholas and Matthew) and Eric (Anne Chartier) and their mother, Mary; his stepsons Erik Bernier (Kétia Boissonneault) and Christian Bernier (Kathleen Cryans, Félix, Loïc and Maxance). He was predeceased by his parents Roméo Lucien Vaive and Alice Fairfield. He will be dearly missed by his sister Louise (Lucien Beauchamp) and all his brothers- and sisters- in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Donations to Canadian Amyloidosis Support Network, Canadian Liver Foundation, BC Cancer Agency or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Jay Aiken, Dr. Jason Hart and Dr. Kevin Song and their teams for their care. A memorial service celebrating his life and legacy will be held on Tuesday, August 20th, at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC and a funeral service on Saturday, August 31st, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at St-François-De-Sales Church, 799 Jacques- Cartier St., Gatineau, Québec.
