July 11, 2005 Robert T. Cobb, 82, of 1301 Nottingham Rd., Jamesville, died Monday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Buffalo, NY, Bob resided most of his life in the Syracuse area. He was a graduate of Nottingham High School. Upon graduation, he served in the U.S. Army during the 2nd World War and participated in the invasion of Normandy. After the war he then worked for 33 years with New York Telephone as a teletype specialist. He was also a communicant of St. Therese Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Jeannette Zimmerman; four daughters, Linda Henderson of Endwell N.Y., Susan Ethridge of Syracuse, N.Y., Judith Taber of Hamden, CT, and Carol Underwood of Manlius, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren. Services will be Thursday 1 p.m. at St. Therese Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery Resurrection Mausoleum. There are no calling hours.
