Athens - Robert Steven ìSteveî Johnson, died suddenly in his sleep at the age of 58 on June 7th, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jan Godwin Johnson and 3 daughters, Elizabeth Betsy, Haley, and Jessie; four brothers and two sister-in-laws, Timothy and Laurie, Phillip, Daniel, Johnny and Sara, and sister Ellen Johnson; and special friends at Athens Community Council Aging's ADC. He is predeceased by his father, John Howard Johnson and mother, Pat Johnson. He graduated from Athens High School in 1966 and ABAC. He retired from the University of Georgia's Extension Service. A memorial service will be held at Oconee Heights Baptist Church, 4180 Jefferson Road, on Saturday, June 9th, 2007 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Athens Community Council Aging's Adult Day Care, 135 Hoyt St., Athens, GA 30601.Lord & Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
