MANCHESTER - Attorney Robert Singer, 88, of Manchester, NH, died April 15, 2014, after a long illness. Born in Boston, MA, on June 28, 1925, he was the son of Meyer and Libby (Seltzer) Singer. He resided in Brookline, MA, before moving to the Queen City in 1970. During World War II, he served with United States Army Air Corps. His tour of duty included the South Pacific Theater. He earned a law degree from Suffolk University School of Law. In his early years, he was an attorney with the Social Security Administration in Washington, DC, New York City, and Boston. Later, he was an attorney in Manchester for many years. He was a member of the NH Bar Association. Family members include a daughter, Joyce Singer of Florida; and a brother, S. Leonard Singer of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. . SERVICES: Following cremation, urn encryptment will take place in New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH, at a later date.
