LEE, Robert S. 93 of Tampa passed away on Dec. 7, 2010 with his loving wife by his side. A retired commissioned First Lieutenant Pilot of the U.S. Army Air Corps, he shared his passion for aviation as an instructor pilot and later a commanding officer of the Civil Air Patrol. Bob became a respected home builder, forming Lee Associates Inc. and twice served as president of Tampa Home Builders Assn.. Other business affiliations included president of the Exchange Club and was an active Mason. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, his "dearest" Claire; daughters and son-in-law, Penny & Steve O'Neill and Alie Michael Campbell; granddaughter, Aaryn Thompson and her husband, Chris, and great-grandchildren, Madisyn & Trevor. A memorial service will be held today (Friday), 11 am at Segal Funeral Home, 3909 Henderson Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lifepath Hospice or the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
