-> Garden City - Robert Russell Barrett, 89, died Monday, August 18, 2003 at Savannah Specialty Care. He was born December 4, 1914 in Galva, IL to Floyd Judson Barrett and Eula Mae Smith Barrett. He was a native of Galva, IL, a retired Carpenter and veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Moose Lodge, and Post 36 of American Legion. He attended Central Baptist Church. Survivors: wife, Connie Barrett; three step-daughters, Margie Hall, Joyce Stubbs and Cornelia Laird; daughter-in-law, Madora Reese; 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at the funeral home.
