Robert "Bob" Ray Lee - JACKSONVILLE, FL - Robert "Bob" Ray Lee, a longtime Atlantic Beach resident, passed peacefully from the loving arms of his cherished wife, Wanda, and family at his home in Captiva Bluff, to his eternal home in Heaven on July 2, 2007, after a courageous 5 year battle with colorectal cancer. His memory is cherished by Wanda, his devoted wife; his beloved sons, Eddie (Michelle) and Danny (Debby) and his precious grandchildren, Megan, Brandon and Danielle, who will miss their "Papa" very much. Bob is also survived by his mother, Annette Barber, and father, Ernest Lee; sister, Melanie (Bob) McCoy, and numerous nieces and nephews. His brother, Rev. Bill Lee, predeceased him. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7th, in the Christ United Methodist Church followed by a reception in the church social hall for visitation with family and friends to share memories in Bob's honor. Bob was always thankful for the support, love, and prayers of his church family and friends and requested memorials to Christ United Methodist Church Building and Maintenance Fund, 400 Penman Rd., Neptune Beach, FL 32266.
