Obituary of Robert-R. Whittaker

WHITTAKER, Robert R., 83, of Lake Placid, passed away September 5, 2003 at Lake Placid Health Care Center. He was born in Princeton, W.Va. and came to Lake Placid in 1986 from Pompano Beach, Fla. He was Owne r/Manager of an Iron Works Co. and a Presbyterian. He is survived by his wife, Frances L. Whittaker of Lake Placid; daughter, Nancy Wood of Sebring; son, Charles T. Whittaker of Margate, Fla.; ; two grandchi ldren; and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m., September 9, 2003 in Oak Hill Cemetery with Reverend James Leach officiating.
