Pepin, Dr. Robert R., 71, of Boca Raton died Sunday, December 14, 2003. Born in Norwich, CT on August 16, 1932. Dr. Pepin held a dual bachelor's degree in history and political science, an M.A. in School Administration and a PH.D. in Curriculum and Supervision. In 1970, he became one of the founding academic deans of Mohegan Community college in Norwich, and served as Dean of Students for 18 years. Dr. Pepin retired from the Connecticut school system after thirty-three years and moved to South Florida. Dr. Pepin joined Barry University staff at ACE South Palm Beach campus in 1989 and became Site Director in 1991. He retired with high accolades. Bob was preceded in death by daughter, Bobbie Jean Doyle. He is survived by his loving wife, Violet, and devoted daughter, Laurie Pepin-Chapell, and grandson, Scott Doyle, and his wife, Crystal. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2003 at St. Joan of Arc Church. The Pepin family has requested, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in his memory to The St. Joan of Arc Foundation (school scholarship fund).
