Robert Paul Lyons February 13, 1960 - December 12, 2014 Bob passed away peacefully after a lengthy and brave battle with cancer at the age of 54. Beloved husband of Laura Bond. Son of Gene Lyons of Lanark and the late Hannelore Baston. Loved father of Hanne Lore and stepson of Daniel Wiltshire. Dear brother of Susan, Janet and Gene Jr. He will also be dearly missed by Donald Gow.Bob's proudest achievement was organizing the annual Volksfest car show in Embrun from 1992 to 2010.A big thank you to the many doctors and nurses at the Ottawa Hospital who took such good care of him over the years. Also, thanks go to the care staff at the Elizabeth Bruyere Centre.At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.A donation to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada would be appropriate if you wish to do so.
