Robert Bailey Owens, 75, formerly of Greenville, S.C., died in Charlotte, N.C. on Tuesday, August 28, 2007.Born in Greenville, S.C., he was the son of Della Galloway Owens of Pickens, S.C. and the late George Thurmon Owens.He was an Engineer Designer and of the Methodist faith.Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nancy Timms Owens; a daughter and son-in-law: Janet Owens and Mike Mayer, all of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother and two sisters; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.A Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 31, 2007, at 2 p.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Park.Woodlawn Funeral Home, Greenville
