Robert Oscar Johnson, 85, Bradenton, died Oct. 28, 2005, at Westminster Asbury Manor. He was born May 9, 1920, in Detroit and came to Bradenton from James- town, N.Y. He retired as an expediter after 44 years at Hopes Windows Corp. in Falconer, N.Y., and was an Army veteran of World War. He was a founding and lifetime member of Eastside Fellowship Club and volunteered at all the Babe Ruth World Series events. He was a volunteer at the Hopes Windows Credit Union. He served on the council and was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Georgia (Moore); daughters Paula Jefferson of Parrish and Sharon Hamilton of Jamestown; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. No visitation is planned. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Brown and Sons Funeral Homes, 26th Street Chapel.
