ORTON, RobertAge 87 of Centerville. April 15, 2013. A native of Hickman County, he was the son of the late Robert Audie and Mollie Fuller Orton, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Berniece Breece Orton; 2 sisters, Ann Orton and Elsie Hoover. Survivors include daughter, Karen (Gary) Phillips; son, Bobby (Myra) Orton; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; a special friend, Velma McFarlin; brother, John Orton; sisters, Wilma Mathis, Delphia Orton and Betty Jean Graham. Mr. Orton was a farmer in the Beaverdam community for over 60 years, and a member of the Centerville Church of Christ. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m., with Bill McDonald and Bryan McAlister officiating. Burial will follow in the Breece Cemetery. McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, (931) 729-3561.
