Survived by his daughters, Janet (Curtis) Mead and Debora (Terry) Braman; sons, Daniel Starr and Thomas Starr; grandchildren, Laura (Neil) Cameron, Stephanie Mead, Jonathan Mead, Tracy (Joseph) Mendan, Lindsey (Nick) Alongi, Kirsten Starr and Jeffrey Starr; sister, Jean Leiser Hawks; several nieces and nephews.Bob was a graduate of Alfred University and the University of Buffalo (D. Ed); he served in the Navy during WWII; Teacher at Olean Schools; Principal at Lyndonville Schools; Assistant and Superintendent at Frontier Central School District in Hamburg, NY for 23 years. In retirement, Bob and Elaine enjoyed world traveling and time spent with family and friends. Friends may call Sunday, 2-4, 6-8 PM at the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Rd., Webster). A Masonic Service will be held Sunday 7 PM at the funeral chapel. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, 11 AM, at Webster Presbyterian Church, 550 Webster Road. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Hamburg, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the Robert Starr Scholarship Fund at Frontier Central Schools or to Cottage Grove Memory Care Unit, (North Chili, NY) or to the Friendly Home, (Rochester, NY).
