HARRIS, Robert Norman It is with heavy hearts and wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Robert Norman Harris son, brother & uncle at the Saanich Peninsula Palliative Care unit November 4, 2011 after a short but brave battle with cancer. Rob was born in Thunder Bay, July 21, 1963 and graduated from high school there. Rob moved to Sidney, BC. In 1988. Predeceased by his father Lorne in 2007 he is survived by his mother Thelma Harris, Sidney; sisters Sue Harris, Calgary; Judith Rybar (Jim) Thunder Bay; nephew Christopher Rybar (Cara); great-nephew Jude, Thunder Bay and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. Cremation has taken place and a private family internment of ashes will take place Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Holy Trinity church cemetery in Sidney with a memorial service at 2:00 at St Andrews Anglican Church 9691 4th Street Sidney. Thank you to the many caring and compassionate doctors, nurses & volunteers at the Saanich Peninsula Palliative Care Unit for Rob's care over the last month. Flowers are gratefully declined.
