JOHNSON--Robert Neal, of New Canaan, CT, May 18, 1932-December 22, 2008. Graduate of Yale University, Class of 1954 and NYU Business School. Stationed with the US Army in Germany 1955-1956. Long career with Union Carbide Corp. in the United States and in Kenya, East Africa. Dedicated fly fisherman and environmentalist. Member Anglers Club of New York and past President of Theodore Gordon Fly Fishers. Survived by wife of 53 years Carolyn (nee Russell) daughters Elizabeth Wise (Daniel) of Manhattan, Carolyn Davis of Simsbury, CT, Pamela Johnson (Peter) of Corvallis, MT, grandchildren Robert Risley, Shannon and Mason Wise, Julia Davis, sister Kathie Foote of Ovando, MT, and brother Michael Johnson of Boca Raton, FL. Memorial service to be held at the First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan on January 9th at 3pm.
