Obituary of Robert-M. Whittaker

He was born to Charles and Audie (Gage) Whittaker June 27, 1939, in Phillipsburg. Robert loved farming and raising cattle. After retiring from Dayco as a plant manager, he worked at the Springfield Livestock Auction. Robert attended Liberty Baptist Church, in Everton, and was a member of the Sac River Cowboy Church, serving on the board. On November 9, 2004, Robert married Dorma Lou McCroskey.Robert is survived by his wife Dorma Lou, son, Robert Whittaker Jr. and wife Karen, of Spokane, daughter Patricia Ann Grubb, and husband Robert, of Joplin, and a host of extended family members and friends.Robert is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Leo Whittaker, and Doyle Whittaker.A visitation will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012, from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Funeral services will be Friday, July 6, 2012, at the funeral home.
