Robert Leonard White Missouri/New York Robert Leonard White was born in Utica, NY, on January 9, 1922, and passed away November 13, 2011, in Kansas City, MO. He graduated in 1939 from Whitesboro (NY) High School and served in the Army from November 1942 to December 1945, during World War II, in the Philippines and New Zealand. In 1950, he graduated from Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam, NY, with an Electrical Engineering degree, and worked for the Air Force Communications Service for the next thirty years. His job transferred him to Kansas City in 1970. He married Margaret (Peg) Hebard in 1950 and they celebrated their sixty-first anniversary in June. His survivors include his wife of the home; children, Janice Owens (Mick), Nancy Callahan (Greg Harper), Russell White (Michelle) and Joyce Doyen (Tim); 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Cremation services will be private.
