College ProfessorLAKELAND -- Mr. Robert Maher Lee of Lakeland died of heart failure Monday (Dec. 12, 2005) in Lakeland. He was 87.Born in Greenwich, Conn., on Dec. 14, 1917, he came to Lakeland from Coconut Grove six years ago. He was a college professor. He was a member of the Rotary, Wharton Alumni, and Laerenceville Alumni. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a captain. He was an Episcopalian.Mr. Lee is survived by his sons, Robert M. Lee Jr., Minerva, N.Y., William Alex Lee, Wilton, Conn., John F. Lee, Bethel, Conn.; daughter, Nan Lee, New York City; five grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren. Cremation Services of Mid-Florida, Davenport.
