WALDRON Robert Lee Waldron, 83, of St. Augustine, FL died Thursday at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Waldron had been a resident of Florida since 1997 when he moved here from Kansas City. He was a veteran of WW II where he served in the US Army Air Corps. His true passion was being a chef and spending time in his later years with his grandchildren Tyler and Matt as well as with his daughter Kim and Bryan. Other survivors include his son, Mike Waldron, daughters Cynthia Foster, Cathy Dougherty and Nicole Taylor, his brother Lew Waldron, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Waldron was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy in 1997. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 2:00 pm Friday, July 17, 2009 in the Florida National Cemetery of Bushnell, FL.
