-->Robert Lee "Lac" Carter SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. Robert Lee "Lac" Carter of 418 Delmar Road, Spartanburg, entered eternal rest on Thursday evening, January 15, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Mrs. Betty Jean Suber Carter of the home and the late Mr. Samuel Carter, Sr. He was a native of Spartanburg County. He was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his mother, Mrs. Betty Jean Suber Carter, include two sons, Mr. Robert Lee Carter, Jr. and his friend, Ms. Kenyatta Moore and Mr. Willie Farr of Spartanburg; two brothers, Mr. Samuel Carter, Jr. and his wife Mrs. Freida Carter and Mr. Nathaniel Carter and his wife Mrs. Shelia Carter of Spartanburg; one sister preceded in death, Mrs. Rosa C. Smith; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Pastor James Splawn will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home. J. W. Woodward Funeral Home
