Robert "Ole Man" Larsen, 70, Astor, Fla., died Monday, August 11, 2008, at DeLand Memroial Hospital. Mr. Larsen was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came here in 1967. He was a plumber who worked in various places in Florida. He was a member of the Pipefitters Union, the Moose Lodge of Astor, and the V.F.W., Daytona Beach. He loved the New York Yankees and Lionel trains. Survivors include his sons, William, Daytona Beach, and Timothy, Ormond Beach; daughter, Kim, Holly Hill; sister, Florence Walsh, Troy, Va.; four grandchildren, Bobby, Krystal, Patrick and Elizabeth; one great-grandson, Daniel; his daughter-in-law, Andrea Larsen; and many friends from all over. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
