Funeral service for Robert Larry Cowley, 50, of Houston, Texas, will be noon Saturday at St. Paul’s United Spiritual Church with Bishop Napolean Priest officiating and Reynolds Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Cowley died Aug. 14, 2004, in Houston, Texas. He worked for Onyx Medical Clinics and was self-employed with Cowley Services. Survivors include his daughter, Chlorissa Lyle of Decatur; his mother, Dovella Cowley of Decatur; five brothers, Oscar Cowley, William Cowley and Buford Cowley, all of Decatur, Roy Cowley of Germany and Fred Cowley Jr. of Town Creek; four sisters, Debra Echols and Constance Ndukwe, both of Houston, Texas, and Geneva Ross and Mitzi Eze, both of Decatur; and five grandchildren.
