Robert L. Bryant, age 91, of Dahlonega, Ga., died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Gold City Convalescent Center in Dahlonega, Ga.Mr. Bryant was born Sept. 30, 1922, in Wellsboro, Pa. He had lived in Georgia since 1987. He was a retired barber and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville.He was the son of the late Jesse and Louise Grinnell Bryant and was also preceded in death by his wife, Anna Maynard Bryant; granddaughters, Ann Heichel, Tammy Zemaitis and Sarah Bryant; brother, Jesse J. Bryant; and sister, Cora Scranton.Mr. Bryant is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Cinda Heichel, Gainesville, Ga.; Krista and Claude Holloway, Rome, Ga.; sons and daughters-in-law, George and Verla Bryant, Wellsboro, Pa.; Lane and Tricia Bryant, York, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives also survive.Graveside services in Wellsboro Cemetery to be scheduled at a later date.Online condolences may be made at www.banisterfuneralhome.net.Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega, Ga., is in charge of the arrangements.
