YELLVILLE, Ark. - Robert Kent, 25, of Yellville died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at his home. He was born on Feb. 9, 1988, in Medina, N.Y., a son of Darrell and Sally Ackerman Kent. Formerly of New York, he had lived in the Yellville area since 2003. Mr. Kent was known as a hard worker. He was employed at Ranger Boat Manufacturing. Survivors include his father, Darrell Kent of Pennsylvania; his mother and stepfather, Sally and John Gould of Flippin; brother, Justin Kent of Grady; a half-brother, John Borer of Freedom, N.Y.; a half-sister, Amanda Lynch of Henderson, Tenn.; his paternal grandmother, Jean Kent of Brockway, Pa.; and his maternal grandparents, Clayton and Diana Ackerman of Hume, N.Y.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday (June 30, 2013) at the home of Clayton and Diana Ackerman, 7217 County Road 3, Hume, at the Route 19 intersection.
