ObituaryRobert 'Bob' Jones passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 19, 2004 in Ft. Myers Florida. Born in Cynthiana, KY on May 21, 1932. Bob relocated to Ft. Myers in 1989 from Cincinnati OH. During his life Bob was a well-known and respected professional floor technician. Bob was a member of Local 873 Union in Cincinnati. He loved fishing, bowling & horseshoes. Bob was loved by all who knew him. In his neighborhood he was known as a great man that would do anything for anyone. His good natured personality & his willingness to 'lend a hand' will be what is missed most by everyone who came in contact with him. His trademark cigar clenched in his teeth made him recognizable by all who lived in the New Pinelake Subdivision. He was always there to offer his help to everyone that needed it. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years May Ann Hummel Jones and is survived by his children James, Robert, Beverly, Gregory, Peggy, Paula, William, & David, 23 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren, sister Vivian Roszell, & brother William Jones. His daughter Christina and brother Donald preceded him in death. Memorial services for the immediate family were held on June 22, 2004 at Lee Memorial Cemetery.
