Robert "Jonesey" Jones died Monday, June 13, 2005. He was 76. He was born In New York and raised in Waterbury, Conn. He lived in the Daytona Beach area for over 30 years. He operated a custom cabinetry business called "Anything Made of Wood." In the early 1970s he was employed as a finish carpenter by Disney World. Jonesey liked to play the organ and was also talented at art. He designed and constructed many cement structures, some of which are still on Hollywood Avenue, where he once lived with his second wife, Janet. He is survived by a son, Robert; and daughter, Susan; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and his stepbrother, Louis. Arrangements have been made with Alavon, South Daytona, and Maiorano Funeral Home, Waterbury, where "Jonesey" will be interred with his family at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury, Conn. A memorial service will beheld in Waterbury in the fall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler County.
