IronworkerLAKELAND -- Mr. Robert L. Johnson of Lakeland died of heart failure Wednesday (May 12, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 84.Born in Athens, Ga., on May 5, 1920, he came to Lakeland from St. Petersburg in 1950. He was an ironworker and a member of the Ironworkers Local No. 397. He was an Army veteran of World War II.Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Cathy" Johnson. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lanier Funeral Home, 717 W. Griffin Road, Lakeland.
