Johnson Johnson, Mr. Robert Aladean (Bob) passed away on February 20, 2010 at the age of 97. A resident of Fort Lauderdale since 1939, he was born in Marion Indiana in 1912, the son of Ethel and Earl Johnson. He is a graduate of Palm Beach High School and attended Purdue University. He is survived by his wife of 74 years Berthanna Doty Johnson also from Marion Indiana. Prior to settling in Fort Lauderdale, the Johnsons lived in South Bay and Miami. Mr. Johnson enjoyed a long and successful career with the Florida Department of Transportation, where he started as a draftsman and rose to the position of Deputy District Engineer. He is survived by his brother Gene Johnson of Swayzee, Indiana, his children Ms. Sandra Hunter of Atlantic Beach Florida, Mr. Philip Johnson of Atlanta Georgia, grandsons Seth Hunter, Chris Johnson and Brian Johnson and great grandchildren Ava and Parker Johnson.
