Obituary of Robert Jennings


Robert Jennings Stittville/Indiana Robert Jennings, 65, of New Port Richey, FL. died October 26, 2010. Born on August 23, 1945, the son of James and Anne Ryan Jennings, Bob grew up in Stittville and graduated in 1964 from Holland Patent. Bob was a catcher on his little league team and a paper boy for 10 years. He was on his schools track and cross-country teams and he played the drums in the band. Bob also played competitively with local drum and bugle corps. Bob was employed at Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo, Indiana for 30 years as a purchasing expeditor. After retiring, Bob and his wife, Pam, moved to Florida to be near to his children. 32 years ago Bob lost his leg to cancer but not his zest for life. He provided his family with love, joy, hope understanding and true faith. Bob lived life as a profile in courage for all who knew him. Survivors include his loving wife, Pam, two sons, Robert P. Jennings, wife Susie, and granddaughter, Cameron; Scott J. Jennings, wife Rebecca and grandson, Maxwell Robert; two daughters, Amy Kelly, husband Joe, and grandsons Drew and Evan; and Kelly Jennings. Bob also leaves two brothers, James, of New York Mills and Richard and wife, Celia of Stittville; one sister, Eileen and husband, Gary Sterling of Brewerton, NY and Palm Harbor, Florida. Robert was laid to rest at the convenience of his loving family in Kokomo, Indiana.
