ROBERT JAMES WILSON CROWN POINT, IN Robert James Wilson, age 87, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Wednesday, July 02, 2008. Robert was born on September 22, 1920 in Black Oak, IN. He was a Veteran of WW II-US Army, 101st Airborne "Screaming Eagles". Bob was a Supervisor at Inland Steel. He was a member of the Seton Seniors. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Margie Juliette Benoit Wilson of Crown Point; six children: Diane Martin of Merrillville, IN, Sandra L. (Larry) Niemiec of Crescent Springs, KY, Jeanette M. (Scott) Hartman of Wheatfield, IN; Nancy J. (Terry) Wilson of St. Petersburg, FL, Scott G. Wilson of Tampa, FL and James D. (Veronica) Wilson of Crown Point, IN; 10 grandchildren: Laura Dauksza, Jeff Martin, Angela (Matt) Weeden, Jennifer (Tony) Justice, Scott D. Wilson, Glenn Wilson, Rebecca Sullivan, Shelby (Aaron) Goodrich, Cathy Wilson, and Larry Wilson; five great grandchildren: Kai Justice, Coral Justice, Lileana Justice, Gabriel Wilson and Fallon Sullivan. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 509 W. Division Road, Valparaiso, IN with Rev. David Gosnell, officiating. Cremation by the Burns Funeral Home Crematory will precede memorial mass. After the memorial service, there will be a gathering at the Wilson Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
