BARRETT, Robert Joseph - In loving memory of Robert Joseph Barrett, 76 years. After a courageous battle with cancer, during which time Bob never gave up, he died at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 23rd, 2007. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Moore) Barrett of Sudbury. Loving father of Tara (husband Benny Doucette) of Sudbury, Patrick (wife Gloria) of Sault Ste Marie and Becky. Cherished grandfather of Kelly, Chelsea and Paige. Dear son of Edward and Kathuryn Barrett, both predeceased. Dear brother of Kay Orange of Sarnia, predeceased by Arnold, Leo Patrick, Edward Jr. and Olive. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, and his canine companion Molly. Born in Chesterville, where he married Marjorie in 1963, Bob worked for many years as a Crusher Operator. He had a very strong character. Bob enjoyed reading, walking through the woods with his dog, picking blueberries, and keeping physically fit. He will be lovingly remembered for his devotion to his family. Funeral Prayers in the R.J. BARNARD CHAPEL, JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street, Tuesday, June 26th, 2007 at 11:30 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to N.C.R.F., S.P.C.A. or Diabetic Association would be appreciated. Friends may call after 11:15 am., Tuesday.
