ObituaryRobert "Bob" Johnson, born January 19, 1949 in Providence, Rhode Island died May 4, 2005 at the age of 56 after losing a courageous fight to pancreatic cancer. Bob was a resident of Cape Coral and North Fort Myers for over 46 year. He was a 1968 graduate of North Fort Myers High School. Bob was the Regional Manager for West Coast Insulation, Ft. Myers where he worked for the past 31 years. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam conflict. Bob enjoyed boating, fishing and traveling and all of his many friends.He is survived by his precious wife and soul-mate of 32 years, Patty (Suber) Johnson, his sons, Robert P. and Michael A. Johnson both of Cape Coral, his mother, Marie Johnson, his sister Joyce (Lorenzo) Henderson, his brother Bill (Linda) all of N. Fort Myers, his sister Cheryl (Kevin) Johnson Golden of Tampa. Bob is also survived by four nieces and one nephew, one great niece and five great nephews and one great great nephew. Bob was son of the late William A. Johnson who died in 1999 and whom was a pioneer of Bonita Springs. A viewing will be held at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd. on Sunday, May 8 from 4 to 7 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 9 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 2157 Cleveland Ave., Ft. Myers, FL 33901. Entombment will follow with military honors at Ft.
