Obituary of Robert Johnson


JOHNSON, Robert Nelson (Bob) Passed away peacefully at home, on September 28, 2002, at 70 years of age. Gone to be with his Heavenly Father. To greet him will be his wife Helen, his mother Evangeline, his father Charles, his brother Don, and his daughter Elizabeth. Bob leaves behind his brother Bill (Eleanor), his sisters Betty (John) Duff, Catherine (Paul) Bartley, and Joan (Al) Reguera. Very dear friend of Karen Boyce. Bob will be greatly missed by his sons David (Tracey), Gary (Marge), Kevin (Carol), and his daughters Lela (Ron) Desbien, Susan (Rich) Taciuk, and Lisa (Kendall) Miller. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren will mourn his passing. Bob was retired from Dominion Forge & Stamping. He was also a member of the C.A.W. Local #195. Friends will be received at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (254-3223), on Monday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2002, at 1:00 p.m. from the H.S. Anderson Memorial Chapel. Fr. Tom Ashton officiating. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Memorial tributes to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. www.funeralscanada.com
